Moh Moh Licious

I'm not sure what happened here but the kitchen has seriously upgraded. The food used to be really hit or miss with doughy samosas and stringy meats in watery curries. I decided to give them another try after about a year of avoiding them and I'm so glad I did. Everything I order is consistently delicious. Particular favorites are the matar makhani, peas and mushrooms in a rich cream sauce; and the aloo gobi, hotly spiced stewed cauliflower and potatoes. Butter chicken is of course a crowd pleaser and the samosas are crisp with tender, well-seasoned fillings. Oh and be warned, unlike most places, they actually do make things super spicy hot by request.

HH is a wonderful Indian/Nepali restaurant! We have had consistently well-prepared, delicious vegetarian meals, including spicy fried momos, breads, tomato and potato achar. I especially love the vegetable dumplings in almond/fruit sauce and the spicy okra. All in all, HH is a great addition to the Bethesda scene (even if a bit out of the way), and I hope that it prospers. Go and check it out!

Love this restaurant. Today is my 25th wedding anniversary and we ordered delivery from you guys since it's a work night and difficult to go out during the week! Exceeded all expectations and was wonderful to celebrate 25 years of marriage with my husband with a delicious dinner delivered. Thank you!

I'm a big fan. The food is really good. Also, I sent them a note that the butter chicken was for kids and to make it non-spicy. Not only was it non-spicy, but, without requesting it, they cut the chicken into smaller pieces. I like thoughtful service.

Just as good the second time as the first. The lamb korma is delicious, with a creamy, savory sauce and tender chunks of lamb. The naan is freshly made, served hot with your choice of plain, garlic or butter. A hidden gem in Bethesda!

Unlike some previous reviews, I've never had to wait long for my orders from Himalayan Heritage. They have always been very prompt, and quite friendly. As to the food, well, wow. This is not your typical Indian food--the Nepalese spices and textures are a wonderful addition to my ethnic food favorites. As a vegetarian, I'm particularly happy to have the depth and difference of flavors. My biggest problem with HH is that I probably order it too often!

Buddha delight is always the best. So glad I tried it on a whim months ago. Biryani was on point. Garlic naan never disappoints. Delivery guy was super friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Delicious ! And it got here in half the time they said. Also, portions are very generous.
